Can I purchase a lot now if I don’t plan on building immediately?
Yes. There is currently no requirement to build immediately on any lot that is purchased.
 

Is there any seller financing available for lot purchases?
There is no financing provided directly by the Developers. 
 

Does Forbes Farms, LLC build homes?
No. We are not home builders. However, through our Preferred Builder program, we can assist you in having your new home built in Forbes Farms.
 

Can I use a builder other than a Preferred Builder to build my home?
Yes. Any builder holding a valid Residential Contractor’s License issued by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors can build in Forbes Farms.
 

Can I self-contract my own home in Forbes Farms?
No. For the protection of current home owners and the long term preservation of the lifestyle our residents enjoy, only licensed residential builders are permitted to build homes in Forbes Farms.
 

Is membership in the Forbes Farms Property Owners Association (POA) mandatory?
Yes. In order to properly maintain the community owned property such as the pool, recreation areas, entrance gates, landscaping, etc., membership in the POA is required for all property owners.
 

How much are the property owners association dues?
Currently the dues are $65 per month.
